1. Replaced Ni-Cad cells.
2. Added cells and charging lead.
3. Lost Quick charger (died) and changed over to Makita® design, including the motor that will handle 9.6 volts...
4. Replaced Quick charger and removed internal cells.
This Hoover® Wet/Dry vacuum saved many a carpet.
My MRC® Quick Charger tops off at 8.4 volts but, this vacuum screams CLEAN!!!
